We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)).
What we collect. Details you give us through our forms, ads, email or LinkedIn — such as your name, email, company, role and hiring or career information — plus limited usage data collected by cookies and similar tools on our site and ads (including the LinkedIn Insight Tag).
Why. To respond to enquiries, deliver our screening, role design and placement services, improve our site and ads, and send information we reasonably think is relevant to you. Opt out of marketing at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or emailing us.
Who sees it. We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (hosting, forms, scheduling, email and administrative support, including team members located in the Philippines), with your consent, or where the law requires. A candidate's identity is never released to an employer without that candidate's specific consent.
Advertising. The LinkedIn Insight Tag may collect site-visit data so we can measure our ads and show relevant content on LinkedIn. You can manage this in your LinkedIn settings and control cookies in your browser.
Security and retention. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires.
Your rights. You may ask to access, correct or delete your information, or raise a privacy complaint, by emailing brendan@shortlistadvisory.com.au. We respond within a reasonable time; unresolved complaints can go to the OAIC (oaic.gov.au).
Registered candidates: the Candidate Privacy Notice in your Terms of Registration also applies to you.
We use cookies to analyze website traffic and optimize your website experience. By accepting our use of cookies, your data will be aggregated with all other user data.
